ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
POSITION:
EnviroSolve Corporation (http://www.envirosolve.com/) is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer, with excellent communication and technical skills, to staff our Southern California office. Under general direction of our Principal Environment Engineer, the candidate will work on the design, construction and operation environmental remediation systems. The Environmental Engineer will also prepare necessary reports relative to:
- vapor extraction and groundwater treatment systems for chlorinated solvent, petroleum hydrocarbon, and pesticide/herbicide impacted soils and groundwater;
- enhanced bioremediation and other innovative technologies that can lead toward remediation by monitored natural attenuation;
- stormwater collection, treatment, discharge, and monitoring systems; and
- landfill leachate treatment and conditioning systems.
Located in Agoura Hills, CA, EnviroSolve is an innovative and growing environmental consulting and engineering services firm that specializes in design and operation of soil and groundwater remediation systems, stormwater discharge treatment systems, and systems that condition landfill leachate and apply our patented low-grade heat evaporation technology.
The candidate will work closely with our Principal Environmental Engineer, interface directly with our clients, assist in preparing project budgets and oversee technician support of engineered systems. The candidate may also prepare proposals and scopes of work. It is estimated that 70% of the candidate’s time will involve project work and 30% business and company technology development. Limited travel is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of a BS Degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering; a Graduate Degree is a plus. A State of California professional registration, and 5 to 10 years experience in design and operation of remediation, stormwater, and/or water treatment systems.
Knowledge of CAD, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Working knowledge of CA and Federal regulations; OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training a plus.
Strong track record of working closely with clients and regulatory agencies; ability to direct a small team of dedicated environmental engineers and professionals.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
EnviroSolve Corporation compensation is competitive depending upon candidate qualification. Health insurance, 401K, retirement, vacation, sick leave are part of the total compensation package. Relocation benefits are not provided.
